DaDepo Activation Update

Status as at 25 June 2026

DaDepo has entered its activation stage: the phase in which platform development, operating processes, team capacity, compliance planning and market-entry preparation are being brought together around a common delivery plan.

The immediate objective is to establish a reliable foundation for preparing document-backed assets and rights for structured review. DaDepo begins with the information that supports an asset—contracts, amendments, invoices, payment records, correspondence and other evidence—and helps users organise that material into a reviewable Asset Passport.

Activation does not mean that every planned service is already live. It means that the core product and operating workstreams are progressing together toward controlled testing, pilot use and later market entry.

Where the project stands

Platform foundation — in progress

Development is focused on the core path from documents to a structured asset record. The work includes:

  • document intake and organisation;
  • asset and document classification;
  • extraction of candidate parties, dates, amounts and terms;
  • links between structured information and available source evidence;
  • user review and correction of AI-assisted findings;
  • Asset Passport creation;
  • private and controlled information-sharing workflows; and
  • preparation for future registration, buyer-review and integration paths where available and appropriate.

The platform is being developed in stages so that important actions remain separate. Document analysis, user confirmation, disclosure, registration and transaction-related steps should not be treated as one automatic process.

AI-assisted asset preparation — in progress

Artificial intelligence is an important part of DaDepo's operating model. Its purpose is to reduce the time required to understand and organise complex document sets while keeping material decisions under human control.

The current AI work focuses on assisting with:

  • document-type identification;
  • extraction of reviewable facts;
  • proposed asset descriptions and summaries;
  • identification of possible missing or conflicting information;
  • source-based navigation; and
  • preparation of a structured record for user review.

AI findings may be incomplete or incorrect. They do not independently confirm ownership, legal validity, enforceability, transferability, value or suitability for a buyer or investor. Users remain responsible for reviewing the source documents, correcting the structured information and approving each material next step.

Operating model and team capacity — in progress

Organisational work is developing alongside the platform. Current priorities include:

  • defining responsibilities across product, technology, AI, operations and client support;
  • documenting onboarding and asset-preparation processes;
  • establishing escalation and exception-handling procedures;
  • preparing support structures for controlled pilot users;
  • aligning platform permissions with operational roles; and
  • expanding specialist capacity as milestones require it.

This parallel approach is intended to ensure that new functionality is supported by clear responsibilities and repeatable processes rather than technology alone.

Legal and compliance planning — in progress

DaDepo is mapping the legal and regulatory requirements relevant to its proposed services and target jurisdictions, with external professional support where appropriate.

This work includes examining:

  • company and user onboarding requirements;
  • identity, KYC, AML and sanctions controls where applicable;
  • data protection and confidential-document handling;
  • the legal treatment of different asset and right types;
  • the boundary between information tools and regulated activity;
  • registration, assignment, disclosure and transaction requirements; and
  • which permissions, licences, regulated partners or jurisdiction-specific processes may be required for later services.

Regulatory analysis is service- and jurisdiction-specific. Work on a compliance framework does not mean that a licence has been granted, that a regulated service is available or that an asset is legally eligible for registration or trading.

Market and partnership preparation — in progress

DaDepo is developing its market-entry approach through discussions about user needs, document workflows, potential pilot cases and institutional collaboration.

Current work is aimed at understanding how asset owners, advisers, servicers, account managers and professional reviewers could use a more structured evidence package. This includes identifying where document quality, incomplete records, inconsistent data or uncertain ownership history currently slow down review.

Partnership and integration discussions remain subject to technical, commercial, legal and regulatory assessment. A discussion, demonstration or technical test should not be treated as a completed partnership or live integration unless DaDepo announces it as such.

The current product focus

DaDepo's current foundation is the Asset Passport.

An Asset Passport can bring together:

  • the proposed asset or right description;
  • relevant documents and versions;
  • stated parties and roles;
  • amounts, dates and obligations found in the material;
  • provenance and source references;
  • review and confirmation status;
  • known restrictions or uncertainties; and
  • a record of important updates and disclosed gaps.

This structure can help another authorised person understand the available evidence more efficiently. It does not replace the original documents, official registers, legal analysis, professional due diligence or the completion requirements for a particular transaction.

Initial asset categories under consideration include claims, receivables, contracts, intellectual property and licensing rights, secured and mortgage-related records, non-performing loan portfolios and other document-backed rights.

Feature availability and the appropriate workflow will depend on the asset, jurisdiction, user status, evidence and the requirements of any relevant third-party service.

Experience informing the build

The DaDepo team brings experience from financial-market and depository-related technology, including work around ExecExchange using DEPEND CSD infrastructure.

That experience informs an important design principle: the marketplace, depository, payment, settlement and information layers may need to work together, but they perform different functions and should not be presented as interchangeable.

DaDepo's current focus is the structured information and Asset Passport layer. Any present or future third-party technology relationship, integration or regulated service will be described according to its confirmed scope.

What the activation stage does not mean

At this stage, DaDepo should not be understood as claiming that it has:

  • completed a full public launch in every target market;
  • received every permission or licence that a future service may require;
  • become a bank, exchange, central securities depository, payment system, custodian or settlement system;
  • made every asset category available for registration, sale or financing;
  • authenticated every uploaded document or external record;
  • confirmed that an asset is valid, owned, transferable, enforceable or suitable for investment;
  • created a regulated financial instrument by recording information about a contract or right; or
  • guaranteed a transaction, price, buyer, financing outcome, settlement or liquidity.

These boundaries allow the project to communicate progress without presenting planned capabilities as completed services.

Priorities for the next stage

The next stage of work is expected to concentrate on:

  1. Core workflow testing — testing the path from document intake to reviewed Asset Passport.
  2. Evidence and provenance — strengthening links between structured information and source material.
  3. Access and permissions — refining private, selected and NDA-controlled sharing.
  4. Operational readiness — documenting onboarding, review, support and exception handling.
  5. Security and resilience — continuing technical, access-control and performance testing.
  6. Regulatory route definition — identifying the permissions, partners and controls required for specific later services.
  7. Controlled pilots — preparing selected use cases for structured feedback when the relevant workflow is ready.
  8. Institutional interoperability — continuing to define how structured asset information may connect with professional and regulated infrastructure in future.

These are development priorities, not guaranteed release dates. Their sequence may change as testing, legal analysis, partner requirements and user feedback provide new information.

Building toward responsible market entry

DaDepo's longer-term objective is to reduce the distance between fragmented asset documents and a controlled, informed transaction process.

The activation stage is about building the foundations carefully: reliable source-based information, human review, defined permissions, transparent limitations and clear separation between preparing an asset and making a legal, financial or regulatory decision about it.

Progress will be communicated through dated updates as material milestones are completed.
